2006 d'Arenberg The High Trellis Cabernet Sauvignon

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Top note of cedar, followed by blackcurrant and spice, showing good varietal lift. The palate is quite dry, with the tannins being too assertive at this stage. Flavours of cedar and mocha, followed by a touch of plum. Aftertaste of cedar, mocha and plum with persistent dry tannins.
