2006 Clemens Hill Pinot Noir

Winemaker Julian Alcorso has produced a semi translucent crimson coloured Pinot showing good depth. Lifted nose with impressive varietal character. Top note of cherry and spice followed by a hint of raspberry. The palate has good weight, but misses out on the power wave. Flavours of spice, some light anise, cherry and spice. A good Commercial style. Lingering cherry, spice and anise aftertaste.
