2006 Clayfield Grampians Shiraz

Totally opaque black crimson colour with deep black crimson hue. The nose displays lifted top notes of dark ripe plums followed by some blackberry, dark chocolate and liquorice aromas. Big, lavish and super concentrated, the palate delivers an opulent flavour profile. Ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plum, followed by a touch of confectionary with a spicy back palate. Fine grained slightly dryish but balanced tannins. Excellent depth and persistence with long aftertaste of blackberry, black cherry, liquorice and spice.
Cellar for 4-5 years (2015-2016).
