2006 Chateau Noaillac Cru Bourgeois

This well made soft Medoc red is produced from a blend of 55% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot. Deep dark red colour with dark red mauve hue. Refined notes of violets and cedar are followed by mulberry, earth and spice. The palate is quite soft for a Medoc delivering flavours of plum and mulberry followed by some cedar and spice. Good richness and depth with fine grained tannin structure. Aftertaste of mulberry, spice and cedar.
Drink over the next 2 years (2011-2013).
