2006 Chateau Corbin

Merlot dominant (80%) this Bordeaux red also contains 10% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep dark crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose is a touch restrained at first with aromas of cedar, earth, mulberry and spice emerging. Medium weight the palate displays flavours of ripe mulberry, spice and cedar. Fine grained dryish tannins with aftertaste of mulberry, spicy cedar and a touch of earth.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
