A clever play on words about the vineyard’s location has gone into naming this wine. The story being that the vineyard is located in the centre of one of the Barossa Valleys most important wine growing hubs. Surrounding the vineyard are the vineyards of Torbreck, Two Hands, Penfolds, Kalleske and Rolf Binder.

A fantastic value wine!

Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Perfumed nose with top notes of vanilla, plum and spice followed by end notes of blackberry and violet. The palate flavours are generous with plum and liquorice allsorts evident over a black pepper and spice back palate. Fine grained tannins are supported by some smoky oak. Aftertaste of plum, liquorice and vanilla. A fantastic value wine!
Cellar 3-4 years (2010-2011)
Alc/Vol: 15%

Other Reviews......
The wines receive only modest oak treatment, 30% aging in a combination of new and second use barrels. The 2006 Shiraz is opaque purple with an alluring nose of spice box, pepper, blueberry, and blackberry. Opulent on the palate, this full-bodied wine has layers of flavor, ripe fruit, excellent balance, and enough structure to evolve for a few years. However, only masochists will want to defer their gratification for more than a few minutes after purchase.
