2006 Campo di Sasso Insoglio del Cinghiale Red

A blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot & Syrah. Opaque dark crimson black colour with deep dark crimson mauve hue. Perfumed aromas of black cherry, plum and mulberry followed by some spicy earth like notes. The palate displays a more austere structure than the 2005 vintage displaying flavours of dark cherry, mulberry and spice followed by some earthy undertones on the back palate. Slightly chalky, dry tannins with aftertaste of mulberry, earth and spicy cedar.
Cellar 4-5 years (2014-2015).
