2006 Brown Magpie Breheny Vineyards Pinot Noir

This wine was matured in French barriques (20% new oak) for 12 months. Crimson colour with mauve brick red hue. Aromas of very ripe strawberry, stewed plum and confectionary. Light to medium weight palate with flavours of stewed plum, spice and confectionary that appear to be drying out. Fine grained dryish tannins. Lacks depth with moderate aftertaste of stewed plum, dark cherry and spice.
