2006 Brothers in Arms No.6 Shiraz Cabernet

Matured in French oak of which 10% was new with the balance being 1-4 year old oak barrels. Opaque black deep dark red colour with very deep dark red verging on brick red hue. Aromas of ripe blackberry and liquorice with a leathery overtone followed by some vanillin oak and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses generous flavours of liquorice, blackberry, toasty oak and spice. Slightly dryish and firm tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, blackberry, toast and spice.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
