This wine has been bottled unfiltered. Medium body. Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. The wine is relatively light weight for a Heathcote Shiraz. Top note of spice, followed by plum with hints of raisin cake and liquorice. The palate delivers flavours of spice and stewed fruit with a hint of liquorice. Fine grained dry chalky tannins. Aftertaste of spice and stewed fruit.
