2006 Bidgeebong The Icon Series Chardonnay

This is the high point of Bidgeebong Chardonnay, with fruit being sourced from three Tumbarumba vineyards – Mountain View, Mannis and Raymond.

Bright straw colour with pale straw hue. Aroma of peach, melon and biscuit with a hint of butterscotch. Creamy texture. There is a sense of elegance and restraint on the palate, with flavours of almond kernel, tropical fruit and melon evident. There is a touch of bitterness on the back palate – with aftertaste of tropical fruit and almond kernel.
