2006 Battle of Bosworth Shiraz Viognier

Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Top note of dried apricot, liquorice, blackberry and black pepper showing strong varietal character. Full bodied palate – quite joosy with flavours of spice, dried apricot, blackberry and liquorice over a black pepper background. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance. Very long aftertaste of dried apricot, black pepper and spice.

First Tasted, October 2007:
Organically grown. Opaque black purple colour with black purple hue. Aroma of dried apricot, spice, liquorice and blackberry. The palate has excellent weight and mouthfeel, with flavours of liquorice, plum and spice evident over a dried apricot background. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of plum and spice.
