2006 Bacchanalia Semillon

The level is quite low for a relatively young wine being at the base of the neck. Deep straw pale gold colour with pale straw hue. The nose is quite developed, almost oxidised with aromas of dried fruits, almonds, honey and some toast notes also emerging. The palate is showing some oxidised characters and has lost it’s freshness – flavours of almonds and hazelnut along with some honeyed characters finishing quite dry. Short nutty aftertaste. Pass.
