- Cellar 2 - 3 years (2011-2012)
- ABV 13%
- Closure: Screw Cap
Produced from a blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Merlot. Deep mauve purple colour with mauve purple hue. Aromas of dark cherry, violets and cedar with a touch of leather also making an appearance. Medium bodied with flavours of black cherry, cedar and spice. Fine grained tannins. Dark cherry, cedar and leather aftertaste.
Cellar 2-3 years (2011-2012)
This straightforward red from one of Tuscany's oldest wineries is a perfect introduction to Italy's sangiovese grape. Although blended with a little merlot, it sums sangiovese up well, from the kernelly cherry, raspberry and earthy aromas through the dry, moreish flavours. Tannins are softer than in most, making it easy to like.
