Other Reviews….
This straightforward red from one of Tuscany's oldest wineries is a perfect introduction to Italy's sangiovese grape. Although blended with a little merlot, it sums sangiovese up well, from the kernelly cherry, raspberry and earthy aromas through the dry, moreish flavours. Tannins are softer than in most, making it easy to like.
