The Allinda Winery was established in 1990 by Al and Linda Fencaros (hence Allinda). The 8 acre property is located in the foothills of The Great Dividing Range at the Northern end of the Yarra Valley. Al Fencaros, graduated from Melbourne University as an Applied Chemist, but soon got tired of sniffing paint and moved on to complete a winemaking course at Charles Sturt University. This wine has been made from a blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. The Allinda Cabernet blends have been consistently impressive.

Medium body. Deep crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Delightful nose – Perfumed with aroma of violets, cassis, cedar and blackcurrant with a hint of confectionary as an end note. Excellent palate weight and mouthfeel with flavours of blackcurrant, mulberry, cedar and spice. Classic ripe complex Cabernet blend. Spicy back palate. Fine grained tannins, perfectly balanced with exceptionally long aftertaste.
