2005 Zonte's Footstep Sangiovese Barbera

This wine is made up of 52% vine dried Sangiovese and 48% Barbera grapes. Medium body. Brick red crimson colour with brick red hue. Lightly perfumed nose of cherry and spice followed by confectionary and white pepper. On the palate flavours of cherry, liquorice, spice and confectionary over a white pepper background. Fine grained tannins, perfectly balanced. Aftertaste of cherry, spice, liquorice and confectionary.
