2005 Zerbina Ceregio Sangiovese

Semi translucent crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Top note of stewed plum and spice, followed by a hint of anise. On the palate flavours of plum, spice and stewed fruit are supported by slightly chalky tannins. There is some delicate dry leathery back palate flavours. Aftertaste of plum, spice and stewed fruit.
