2005 Yalumba Late Harvest Viognier (375ml)

The 2004 / 2005 was perfect growing season for the ripening of grapes to produce a late harvest Viognier. April and May remained unusually dry at Wrattonbully which allowed full flavour development, whilst maintaining acidity. The grapes were picked on the 4th of May which resulted in this luscious dessert wine. Brilliant pale gold colour with straw hue. Superb nose of lemon, honey, tropical fruit and paw paw. The palate has a luscious mouthfeel with flavours of mango, tropical fruit and honey emerging. Clean finish. Long aftertaste of honey, lemon, spice and tropical fruit.
