2005 Yalumba Hand Picked Shiraz Viognier

A generous red. Very deep mauve black crimson colour with deep mauve hue. Lifted nose of dried apricot, followed by liquorice and spice delivering an appealing sniff. On the palate layers of liquorice, spice, mocha and dark chocolate emerge over a black pepper background. Fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of liquorice, plum, dried apricot and dark chocolate.
