This wine was produced from 70 year old Bush vines and delivers plenty of varietal flavour. Medium body. Mauve colour with mauve hue. Very spicy top note, followed by notes of raspberry jam and black cherry. The palate has good weight and mouthfeel. Flavours of spice, raspberry and liquorice allsorts. Soft tannins. Aftertaste of spice, raspberry and liquorice.
