The name Ulithorne was the original name of the vineyard property named after Ullathone, Australia’s first Irish Catholic priest. Sam Harrison and Rose Kentish have recently sold the vineyard but have retained access to parcels of the best fruit.

 A magnificent red.

Totally opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Perfumed top note, with violets, liquorice allsorts, spice and vanilla notes – creating a superb sniff. The palate is mouthfilling, with concentrated flavours of spice, black pepper, vanilla, plum and confectionary. Outstanding length and depth. Fine grained tannins, perfect balance. Very long aftertaste of black pepper, plum and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years (2011-2012)
Alc/Vol: 14.5%
