2005 Scotchmans Hill Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Top note of spice, followed by old leather and stewed fruit. On the palate flavours of ripe plum and confectionary with stewed fruit and vanilla dominant. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of vanilla, plum and spice.

First tasted, December 2006: Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Lightly perfumed nose of spice, violets and plum. The palate structure is tightly knit. Flavours of spice, white pepper and stewed fruit. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of stewed fruit and white pepper.
