2005 Rymill MC² Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Franc

Matured for 24 months in 1-4 year old French oak barriques. Deep dark red colour with deep dark brick red hue. The nose displays aromas of stewed fruit, mulberry and cedar followed by some emerging leather notes. Medium weight with flavours of stewed fruit, cedar and spice with some leather on the back palate. The fruit is beginning to show signs of drying out and needs to be drunk sooner rather than later. Fine grained but dryish tannins with aftertaste of mulberry, cedar and spice.
