2005 Rochford Chardonnay

Bright deep straw colour with green tinge and pale straw hue. Top note of green tea, hazelnut, biscuit and yeast lees showing good barrel ferment character. On the palate flavours of green tea, yeast lees and melon followed by a hint of grapefruit and biscuit. Clean, crisp acid finish. Aftertaste of yeast lees, melon, biscuit and green tea. A Chablis inspired Chardonnay.
