2005 Pierre Sparr One White

This is an unusual blend of the major white varietals grown in Alsace. Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Muscat and Pinot Gris.
Bright deep straw colour – verging on pale gold, with water like hue. Floral lime and lemon top note followed by a hint of tropical fruit, creamy mouthfeel – the wine has good weight, but is slightly broad. Soft acid finish. Exotic aftertaste with tropical fruit and lychee evident.
Cellar 2-3 years (2009-2010)
