2005 Pewsey Vale Museum Release The Contours Riesling

Brilliant straw colour with slight greenish tinge and water like hue. Lifted and intense aromas of toast, lime and citrus followed by some spice and a hint of kerosene as an end note. The palate displays flavours of lemon, toast and spice followed by a touch of lime with the toasty characters persisting onto the back palate. Excellent acid backbone maintains a sense of freshness and vibrancy throughout the wine. Clean crisp dry finish. Long aftertaste of toast, lemon and spice with a hint of kerosene also emerging.
This excellent example of aged Riesling can be enjoyed now or cellared a further 4-5 years (2010-2015)
