2005 Peter Lehmann Stonewell Shiraz

Matured in a combination of 90% French and 10% American oak hogsheads for approx 18 months this wine displays an opaque dark red black colour with deep dark red hue. Perfumed nose with aromas of dark plum, mocha, liquorice allsorts, vanilla and confectionary. Full bodied palate flavours of mocha, plum, blackberry, confectionary and vanilla with a spicy blackpepper overlay. Very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins with long aftertaste of dark chocolate, plum, liquorice allsorts and blackpepper.
