The Chardonnay was produced from 25 year old vines grown on 7 distinct sites in the Piccadilly Valley. Brilliant deep straw colour with pale gold hue. Perfumed top note of melon, hazelnut, cashews and biscuit. The palate displays elegance and real finesse – reminiscent of some wines from Mersault. Flavours of cashew, yeast lees, melon, fig and biscuit. Excellent balance. Some honey and biscuit back palate flavours. Clean acid finish. Aftertaste of honey, biscuit and cashew.
