2005 Paxton Jones Block Shiraz

Deep crimson red purple colour with crimson mauve hue. Almost opaque. The nose displays good intensity with aromas of ripe blackberry, plum, spice, confectionary and vanilla. Good palate weight with flavours of ripe plum, blackberry, liquorice allsorts, mocha and some blackpepper on the finish. Velvet smooth tannins with long aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice allsorts and vanilla.
Drink now or cellar 2-3 years.
