2005 Matua Valley Hawkes Bay Merlot

Semi translucent, mauve purple colour. Top note of raspberry, followed by a hint of mulberry and light spice. On the palate, the flavours of freshly crushed raspberries emerge, over an inky, liquorice back palate. Aftertaste of raspberry and spice.
