2005 Masi Campofiorin Ripasso Dry Red

Medium body, deep crimson colour with crimson hue. Perfumed nose with top note of leather, followed by spice, truffle and stewed fruit. Fine grained, slightly chalky tannins, in balance with the fruit. Layers of truffle, spice and leather which builds on the back palate which is quite spicy. Some white pepper emerges. Aftertaste of stewed fruit and spice.
