2005 M.Chapoutier Rasteau Cotes du Rhone

Medium body, bright crimson colour with mauve hue. Lifted nose of raspberry and spice. The palate has good weight and mouthfeel, with flavours of raspberry, stewed fruit and just a hint of truffle. Fine grained dryish tannins, excellent balance. Aftertaste of truffle and spice.
