2005 Lillian Marsanne Rousanne

An interesting Rhone combination that is beginning to fill out and will continue to do so over the next few years. Bright straw colour with water like hue and a tinge of green is evident. Tropical fruit, spice and honeysuckle nose, being driven by the Marsanne component. Generous palate weight and mouthfeel. Flavours of honeysuckle and spice are layered over a dusty lemon background. Slightly broad, but that is part of the style. Spicy aftertaste of honeysuckle and spice.
