2005 Leeuwin Estate Prelude Vineyard Cabernet Merlot

Deep dark red colour with dark brick red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant, cedar and mint with some leather notes just beginning to emerge. Medium to full bodied the palate displays flavours of blackcurrant, earthy cedar and mint but lacks depth and persistence. Fine grained tannins with moderate aftertaste of cedar, blackcurrant and leather.
Drink over the next 2 years before it dries out any further (2011-2013).
