2005 Le Pigeoulet des Brunier

Produced from a blend of 80% Grenache Noir, 10% Syrah, 5% Carignan and 5% Cinsault. Dark crimson red purple colour with purple mauve hue. The nose displays good perfume with notes of dark cherry and plum followed by some liquorice allsorts, spice and a hint of new leather. Light to medium bodied with flavours of dark cherry, spice, leather and earth with a dry finish. Fine grained slightly dryish tannins with aftertaste of spice, dried meat and leather.
Drink now or cellar 1-2 years (2010-2012)
