The fruit is produced around the Greenock sub-region of the Barossa. Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue, showing good cling to the glass. Top note of plum, followed by liquorice, vanilla and blackberry. The palate is tighter than expected, lacking classic Barossa length and depth. Fine dryish tannins. Aftertaste of confectionary and plum.
