2005 Kaesler The Old Vines Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with very deep dark red hue. The nose displays lifted aromas of liquorice, blackberry, ripe plum, toasty oak and spice. Thick, rich and super concentrated the palate boasts mouthfilling flavours of liquorice, ripe blackberry and dark plum with an overlay of toasty oak and a spicy back palate. Decadently styled with velvet smooth tannins. Excellent length with long aftertaste of ripe blackberry, liquorice, dark plum and spicy toasted oak.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
