2005 John Glaetzer John's Blend No 32 Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in a combination of 65% new French oak and 35% new American oak, the colour of this wine is holding up very well. Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark brick red hue. Lifted aromas of mocha and spearmint are followed by some confectionary and spice notes. Full bodied with ripe generous flavours of dark plum, vanilla, confectionary, dark chocolate, mint and spice. Excellent length with velvet smooth tannin structure. Long aftertaste of mocha, vanilla, cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2010-2013).
