2005 Henschke Louis Eden Valley Semillon

An impressive Semillon produced from 50 year old vines. Bright pale gold colour with green tinge. Aroma of green tea, hay and tropical fruit. The palate flavours are generous and mouthfilling, with a touch of citrus overlaid with tropical fruit, green tea and a touch of pineapple. Creamy texture. The wine is just a touch broad, but that is part of the style. Aftertaste of pineapple and green tea.
