An unusual blend comprising Grenache, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Tempranillo and Tinta Cao. Almost opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. The nose is impressive, with aroma of liquorice, dark chocolate and mocha. It is difficult to determine any of the individual components in the wine, they have managed to merge in a manner that works. Fine grained tannins, on the dry side, with aftertaste of raspberry, cedar and dark chocolate.

Opaque black crimson colour with black purple hue. Vanilla top note followed by plum and ripe blackberry with just a hint of leather as an end note. On the palate earth, leather and plum flavours are evident. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of leather, plum and spice. An old fashioned red.
