2005 Gemtree Vineyards Tatty Road Cabernet Sauvignon Petit Verdot Merlot Cabernet Franc

This blend is composed of 40 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Petit Verdot, 20% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Very deep almost opaque black purple colour with black purple hue. Excellent cling to the walls of the glass. Perfumed nose with top notes of cassis, blackcurrant, spice and mulberry. On the palate spice, plum and stewed fruit flavours are evident over a fine tannin background. Long aftertaste of plum, spice and black pepper.
