2005 Forest Hill Vineyard Shiraz

Deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Medium body. Aroma of spice, stewed fruit, vanilla and confectionary, with end notes of earth and truffle. The palate flavours are light with stewed fruit and leather emerging over a background of truffle. Dry chalky tannins which run through the wine and overshadow the fruit. Aftertaste of leather and stewed fruit, with dry chalky tannins persisting.
