2005 Eskadale Oddfellows Svengali Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon

Oddfellows winemaker, Greg Follett is one of South Australia's top winemakers who works closely with Langhorne Creek viticulturalist David Knight. Traditionally Oddfellows are governed by the principles of practical wisdom – the Oddfellows wine group encompasses the skills of viticulture, winemaking, graphic design and business management.
The wine is comprised of 55% Shiraz and 45% Cabernet.
Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Superb nose, with top note of vanilla, followed by violets and fresh liquorice. Mouthfilling palate – again superb flavours of vanilla, liquorice, spice and black pepper. Perfect balance. Very fine tannins. An elegant yet forceful wine. Very long aftertaste of vanilla, liquorice and black pepper.
