2005 Bordeaux has received widespread critical acclaim as one of the greatest vintages in living memory and this has not been restricted to just the classified growths . Many of the lesser known terroirs or appellations have excelled in 2005, Robert Parker stating “…these are some of the finest wine bargains of the world…”

Parker describes the wines from such Estates as 'Little Big Ones', adding 'These wines represent many earnest, sincere, over-achieving men and women who are taking unheralded, less prestigious terroirs and turning out brilliant wines...If you are a wine consumer, this is where to spend your money'.

This wine is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Medium body, crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Perfumed nose of violets, blackcurrant and cassis. The nose is quite pronounced. Full bodied palate, with flavours of cassis and blackcurrant, with a hint of confectionary in the background. Fine dry tannins. Very long aftertaste of cassis, blackcurrant and cedar.
Cellar 4-5 years (2012-2013)
