Château Suduiraut is widely regarded as one of Sauternes top estates. Produced from a blend of 90% Semillon and 10% Sauvignon Blanc, the wine is matured in new oak barriques for 18 to 24 months with regular racking. It is filtered twice before bottling with barrels that are deemed not to be up to Chateau Suduiraut’s high standards declassified to a second label.

Other Reviews…
Original Barrel Tasting: Loads of pear and honey character follow through to a full-bodied palate, with lots of spicy character and a sweet, long finish. Very, very spicy on the finish. Better than 2003, but will it ultimately be better than 2001?

Bottle Tasting: Shows dried pineapple, honey, pear, caramel and piecrust aromas. Full-bodied and very sweet, with spice, coconut, tropical fruit and apple tart flavors. Long and dense, yet lively. Best after 2013.
