2005 Chateau Plaisance

A typical Bordeaux, made from a blend of 66% Merlot and 34% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is oak matured for a period of 10-12 months. Medium body. Bright crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Top note of confectionary, followed by blackcurrant and cedar. The palate displays good weight with flavours of truffle and earth over a background of spice, truffle and blackcurrant. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance. Winner of a gold medal at the Concours de Bordeaux.
