2005 Chateau L'Escadre Merlot

Made from 100% Merlot with maturation taking place in tanks this wine displays a medium bodied, bright crimson colour with mauve hue. Top note mulberry and truffle followed by spice, light confectionary and liquorice. Mulberry palate flavours with spice, followed by fine grained soft tannins. Mulberry and spice aftertaste. A well made easy drinking red.
