Medium body, crimson colour with crimson hue. Aroma of truffle and spice, followed by mulberry delivering a perfumed lift and showing good varietal character. The palate displays earth, blackcurrant and spice over a light leather back palate. Fine dryish tannins. Aftertaste of earth, mulberry and spice with fine dryish tannins persisting.
