A blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier sourced from 30 cool climate regions throughout Australia. The mousse is impressive, showing good staying power. Bright pale gold straw base wine. The top note displays delicate hazelnut, yeast lees and cashew notes with good yeast autolysis. Creamy palate texture. Grapefruit lees flavours. Clean, crisp aperitif style. Light lees finish.
Cellar 3-4 years (2011-2012)
The blend of chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meuniere is composed of 30 different multi-region components, and spent 24 months on lees. It is, without question, one of the best vintage bruts from Domaine Chandon for many years. Touches of biscuit and brioche are woven through delicious fruit flavours, the lingering, clean finish with perfect dosage.
