A superb example of Barbera and regarded by some authorities as Australia’s best example of the variety.

This wine recently won third prize in the International Barbera competition, held in Alessandria, Italy. Almost opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Top note of dark cherry, followed by spice and vanilla with just a touch of cocoa and mocha. Very strong white pepper on the palate, supporting ripe, ‘joosy’ black cherry and spice fruit flavours. Velvet tannins. Very long aftertaste of white pepper, black cherry, mocha and spice. Very Limited Stocks Cellar 3-4 years (2010-2011)
Alc/Vol: 15.5%
